Matched betting is my number 1 side hustle of all time. It is a system where you make use of offers from bookmakers to turn a guaranteed profit, tax free. It is a popular way to make money whether it is for a one off such as a holiday or Christmas, or upping your monthly income.

Another legitimate way to win money via online gambling is to play at a casino without wagering requirements. That’s because these casinos have special bonuses which payout any winnings in real cash straight away. Not all sites have these bonuses available though so you can find one that does by checking out this list of the latest no wagering casinos .
20Cogs is a website where you get paid for completing offers, entering competitions, playing games and more.
You simply need to complete 20 offers (or cogs) to get paid, and the average payout is a whopping £200 ! I chatted to some people who have made between £90 – £280 from completing the offers on 20Cogs.
Whilst this one isn’t technically making any money, it can help you to release some cash quickly.
If you have recently made a purchase that still has the tags on or is in a new condition and it within the usual 28 day return period then you might want to consider returning it to get some money freed up.
This can really help you to find money to pay your bills in a bind.
Do you have a friend or family member who owes you money?
Asking them for the money back might be extremely awkward, but it is a quick way to get some extra cash in your pocket.
The best thing is that it is money that you are already owed, so you don’t even have to work for it.

Do you have a change jar that you have been lovingly saving money into? If you need cash fast then this can be one of the easiest ways to make money in an hour or less.
Lots of banks now have machines where you can just throw in the coins Computer tips and tricks it will deposit the money into your bank account, or you can throw the coins inside self service machines in supermarkets and the overage is usually given back to you in notes and higher denomination coins.
If you are absolutely stuck then you can usually find Coinstar machines in supermarkets, although these charge a fee per £1 that you exchange.

It includes things like signing up for new apps, getting free shares, £50 credit on your energy bill and many more.
Local Facebook selling groups are great for shifting items fast. If your post is seen by the right person then you could make a sale within a matter of minutes. Simply photograph your item or items and upload them to local selling groups with a description, being sure to include a price.
Then group members can leave comments to express their interest and you can privately arrange the sale. There are no fees when selling on Facebook, making it a great place to sell.
Online surveys can be a great way to make money in an hour.
You will need to sign up to a few websites (I have listed some of my favourites below) and keep an eye on your email inbox to get notified when there are surveys available.
I make around £50 a month from doing online surveys in my spare time.
If you need to make money in under an hour then consider offering to do paid chores or other work for friends and family members. Not only will they get a break from a job they don’t have time to do (or don’t like doing), they will often be happy to help you out financially if you show this initiative.
It could be anything from offering to mow the grass to doing some admin jobs that they hate. Make sure that you agree a fee upfront and set a deadline for when it will be completed.
